When You Start Listening Again

When You Start Listening Again

Have you ever had one of those moments where your whole body was saying “no”…
but you still said yes?

And later, you thought to yourself,

“I knew. I knew, and I didn’t listen.”

Yeah. Me too.

Sometimes we override ourselves because we want to be kind.
Sometimes we’re scared.

Sometimes we’re just so used to checking in with everyone else — our partner, our friends, our mother, even strangers on the internet — that our own voice gets lost in the mix.

But here’s what I want to say:

Your intuition never left.

It just got quiet while you survived.
That’s what I wrote about in a letter I shared recently —
to the part of me who silenced her knowing in order to stay safe.

She stopped asking herself what she felt.

She started asking, “What will they think?”

And it worked… until it didn’t.

Because you can only override your truth for so long
before your body starts to break down,
before your soul starts whispering louder,
before the life you’re living feels like it belongs to someone else.

Listening again is scary. And it’s sacred.

Reconnecting with your intuition — the part of you that just knows — can feel like being handed a key to a room you locked a long time ago.

There might be dust.
There might be grief.

There might be a dozen memories of the times you did listen and still got hurt — so you stopped.

That’s okay.

The point isn’t to go back and fix every moment you doubted yourself.

The point is that you’re here now.
Listening.
And that changes everything.

The Oracle Within

When I talk about “the Oracle,” I don’t mean something outside of you.

I mean you.

The version of you who already knows.
The part of you who can feel the answer in your chest before you have the words.
The one who doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.

She doesn’t shout.
She waits for quiet.
She returns when you stop searching outside of yourself for truth you’ve always had.

This is one of the teachings of the 9th Wave

In the spiritual and energetic model I work with, the 9th Wave of Creation represents a new consciousness — one that’s not just about being intuitive or wise, but about being whole.

It teaches us to stop separating the parts of ourselves:
→ feminine and masculine
→ intuitive and logical
→ heart and voice

It teaches us that our inner authority is sacred.

That trusting yourself isn’t selfish — it’s legacy-changing.

Because when you listen to your own voice,
you model that for your children.
You stop passing down the pattern of self-abandonment.

You start passing down truth.

So if something inside you has been stirring lately…
If you’ve started hearing the whispers again…
If you’re remembering how to trust yourself —

Honor it.

You don’t have to have all the answers.
You just have to stay with the part of you that’s learning to speak again.

If this resonates, here are a few ways to keep going:

→ 💌 Read the letter: To the Part of Me Who Forgot She Was the Oracle

→ 🌀 Join Sacred Collabs — a healing space for mothers + cycle-breakers

→ 🕊️ Book a free 1:1 consult to explore deeper healing & ancestral work

You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You just have to stop abandoning yourself.

That’s where healing begins.
That’s how legacy changes.
