We continue with Part 3 of the Energy Reset series!


Over the past couple of days, we've explored the foundational practice of grounding, how to stay connected to your body, and how to move energy through you to restore a sense of peace. Today, we’re taking it one step further—what happens to the energy we release when we ground?


Many of you may have wondered: Is it okay to release negative energy into the earth? Could it possibly be harmful?


These are valid and important questions, and today I’m going to explain how we can release energy safely while maintaining a harmonious relationship with the planet.


Understanding Grounding: It's Not Just About You


Grounding is a powerful practice where we return to our bodies, release pent-up energy, and connect to the earth. But grounding is also a co-creative process with the planet. We are in a relationship with the earth, and just like we rely on it for air, water, and food, the earth can recycle and transmute the energy we release.


Many people worry that when they release emotions like anger, anxiety, or sadness, they are sending toxic energy into the earth. But think about how nature works: trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Just as the earth transforms harmful substances into something beneficial, it can also recycle the energy we release.


How to Release Energy Without Harm


If you're still concerned about releasing negative energy into the earth, there's a simple technique to ensure you’re doing it safely and consciously. Here’s how:

  1. Breathe and Ground Yourself: Start with your grounding practice as we’ve discussed—focus on your breath, bring awareness into your body, and notice where any tension, anxiety, or discomfort is located.
  2. Move the Energy: Using your mind, guide the energy down through your body and into the earth. Feel it flowing from your head, shoulders, chest, or wherever you feel tension, through your legs, and out through your feet into the ground.
  3. Transform the Energy: Before the energy fully releases into the earth, visualize it turning into something positive. Imagine it exploding into a million pieces of glitter, sparkling as it settles into the earth. This visualization helps shift your intention and ensures that the energy you release is cleansed and transmuted.


The Earth is a Powerful Ally


Remember, the earth is more than capable of absorbing and recycling the energy we release. In fact, it’s part of a beautiful symbiotic relationship. By transforming the energy into something that can be recycled, you’re working with the planet in a conscious and co-creative way.


It’s important to note that large-scale negative energies—like collective grief, fear, or anger—can indeed affect the earth on a larger scale. That’s why it's essential to be mindful about our individual practices. By taking ownership of our energy and releasing it responsibly, we contribute positively to the energy of the earth.
